We know the last few months (and longer) have been tough for soooo many, however here is a ripper Event for you to take part in! Riding a Bike or Running!
This November, ride for lost loved ones. The Day of the Dead is a celebration of the life of family, friends and loved ones who have passed on. We will be holding ride and Run events right across Australia to honour loved ones who have lost their battle with mental health and celebrate their lives. Rides will vary and can be taken as part of one of the official event rides in your area, or you can do your own ride with your own group.
Covid friendly!! The rides have been set up so you can ride in as small as groups of two or larger depending on restrictions at the time!
Routes for the event will be announced closer to the date but here is a snap shot of what you can expect.
A few days out from the event you will receive your Day of the Dead hamper. Cycling/Running kit, face paint, head dress (for your helmet), and your Festive Feast Hamper. The hamper will consist of a pre-ride elixir and cocktail glass, and an assortment of cold meats, cheese and a list of other refinements for post ride refueling and hydrating.
Be Respectful, thoughtful and have a lot of fun!

Freeze Festival: Sydney, Dee Why - Mid 2022 date to be confirmed
The Festival is a celebration of music in a fun family atmosphere, as well as promoting positive mental health via a medium ‘music’. This has been clinically proven to improve your state of mind. The concept is to showcase the impact that music has on mental health via a mix of amazing seasoned artists as well as young musicians that have formed bands and are writing their own music.
- The Festival is in collaboration with the Mental Wheels Foundation and their Music Scholarship program run by Big Music Studios.
- The program will include 4 young bands (under 25 years old) and their Mentors, creating a mix of well know artist and up and coming artists – capped off by a headline Band/s performing as the main act/s.
- It is called the Freeze Festival as it is held during Winter in the open air (2021 event is at James Meehan Reserve). We will encourage people to head outdoors, rug up, brave the cold, and experience Snow with snow making machines and life size snow globes. This combined
with great food offers will create a fun atmosphere for families and activities for the young and old. Funds
raised go to the Mental Wheels Foundation life changing Mental Health initiatives.
